For my premiere post on Lauren's Kitchen, I wanted to inject some flash and style. So, here's my recipe for pizza dough, written in iambic pentameter.
I've started to really enjoy cooking Indian inspired dishes, and last night, I felt playing a little game of "Chopped" with my husband. "What can I do with Olives, Chicken, Thighs, Dates, and all of this fresh herb we just pruned?" This dish was the culmination of all of our conversations on the matter, and might I add, was delicious!
So, I had all of these Parmigianno rinds in my cheese drawer, since we use Parmigianno faster than it can expire around here. I had no idea what to do with it, and poked around the internet for ideas. Most of the ideas I found involved making soup with pasta, or lentils, but I thought the cannelini beans and bacon would be a great accompaniment to the cheesey, tasty broth. Besides, everything is better with bacon!
My husband was at it again - making delicious muffins for our dinner this weekend! These muffins are a great accompaniment to a light dinner, and delicious as a side dish, or dessert.
